AIM-quoted Innovise plc, the rapidly growing software and IT services provider, announced today that it has agreed to acquire the entire issued share capital of Infrasolve Limited.
Based in Staines, Middlesex, Infrasolve is a successful, market-leading IT solutions company specialising in the provision, design, implementation and support of IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions to a growing number of blue chip customers in Europe and the Middle East.
The acquisition of Infrasolve is the latest, and largest, in a series of strategic acquisitions made by Innovise, and follows the purchase of Abilitec in December 2007. Infrasolve and Abilitec will together provide an extensive portfolio of ITSM solutions to a broad spectrum of blue chip organisations. The breadth of the joint capability includes: ITSM strategy definition, programme management; organisation and process change; solution design; toolset configuration and integration, and ongoing solution support.
Mike Taylor, joint CEO of Innovise, said: “We are confident that the acquisition of Infrasolve will enable us to generate significant additional long-term value. We plan to integrate Infrasolve and Abilitec to become the premier provider of ITSM solutions.”
Joe McKenna, CEO of Infrasolve, added: “The synergies created by combining these two businesses, both of which have performed very successfully on a stand-alone basis, will provide an excellent platform for growth. The resulting business will deliver value-added solutions to even the most complex organisations, reducing risk, complexity and cost.”
The existing leadership teams of Infrasolve and Abilitec will continue to manage the businesses and will work closely to combine their operations during 2009. The enlarged ITSM group will be rebranded under the Innovise umbrella during the year.
